These two events were very good to us. Both weekends, although right next to each other, went off with out any problems. Unfortunantly we were not able to make a strong showing for the second day of Brunswick but we were still able to hold the crowds attention. We met a lot of good people at both events. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our displays.
Each event had its highs and lows. Both took place over incredibly hot weekends; more than one of us went home a little red in the face and not from embarassment this time. At Lost Nations the 5th was invited to go up in the B17 and that was quite an experience. I highly recomend it. If you have the money then you have to try it. The 17 is an amazing machine. The highlight for Brunswick would have to be meeting a group of very eager boys with a passion for WWII history. It was great to see kids their age truely enjoy the same things we do. They had even tailored their own uniforms. Seeing these kids enjoy our display reminds us all why we load our cars up with this stuff and drag it all out in the hot sun. Its seeing the appreciation that others have for the history and what we do that makes this all worth while.
Thanks again and we hope to see you all agin at our other events.
